Call for Special Session Proposals

Special sessions will allow authors to spend an entire session presenting about a specific project or theme. They will enable a group of 4 or more authors to go into more depth about their work and discuss their projects with the audience. Special sessions should be stimulating and intriguing for attendees. If you and your co-authors find this to be an interesting option, don’t hesitate to send us your special session proposal.

General Guidelines

  • Sessions last 60 to 90 minutes;
  • Each session should have between 4 and 6 oral presentations;
  • Each presentation should last a maximum of 15 minutes;
  • The session can include active group discussions introduced by the organizers;
  • Accepted sessions will have their own tracks on the online submission system;
  • No author may appear in more than two articles;
  • One of the organisers of the special session is expected to chair their session.

  • How to Propose a Special Session

    To propose a Special Session, you should send the following information to email: ammem-conf@outlook.com before July 10th, 2025. Proposals should include:

    • A title for the special session;
    • A brief description of the session;
    • Scope and topics;
    • Brief biographies of the session organizer(s) and their contact information;
    • Tentative papers with title and authors (if available).

    After having received your session proposal, it will be evaluated, and you will receive an acceptance/rejection notification by email within two weeks after your submission.

    Review Criteria

    The following points will be taken into consideration when reviewing your session proposal:

    • The novelty and relevance of the topic;
    • The diversity of speakers and institutions taking part;
    • Expected impact and quality of the contributed papers.

    Author Registration

    In order to confirm your session's slot in the conference program, any author taking part should confirm their attendance and complete registration before the author registration deadline. A minimum of 4 authors per special session must register. If authors are not registered by the deadline, or the session doesn't have 4 presentations, the session will not be included in the conference program.
